Dr Rachael Ka'ai-Mahuta (Ngāti Porou, Ngāi Tahu) is a senior lecturer in Māori language revitalisation at the Auckland University of Technology. She is of Hawaiian, Cook Island, Samoan and Māori descent, and started at AUT in 2011 after completing her doctor of philosophy.
