Sue Orr's novel The Party Line ought to have won the 2016 Ockham New Zealand Book Award for fiction, but the judges were stupid. She has also written two short story collections, Etiquette for a Dinner Party and From Under The Overcoat. Sue was born in Thames in 1962.
