Sam Duckor-Jones is the author of poetry collection People from the Pit Stand Up (Victoria University Press, 2018). He lives in Featherston, and makes sculptures. He won the 2017 Biggs Poetry Prize from the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University. Sam was born in Wellington in 1982.
