Maraea Rakuraku is a Tūhoe, Ngāti Kahungunu ki te Wairoa award-winning playwright, poet, short story writer and broadcaster who lives in Wellington and the Bay of Plenty. She is the co-editor of Tātai Whetū: Seven Māori Poets in Translation, published in March 2018 by Seraph Press, and her play Tan-Knee will debut at Circa in June 2018.
