Keagan was born and raised in Zimbabwe and moved to New Zealand with her family in 2004. She graduated from the Theatre Studies course at the University of Waikato and the Acting course at Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School in 2013, and is now sitting her Masters in Acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, in London.
