John Walsh is the author of Auckland Architecture: A Walking Guide, published in 2019. He is communications director of the New Zealand Institute of Architects. He has written or edited over a dozen architecture books; much earlier in life, he graduated from the University of Auckland and Columbia University. John was born in Wellington in 1957.
