Jennifer ComptonJennifer Compton

Jennifer Compton was born in Wellington and now lives in Melbourne. Recent work has appeared in – Antipodes, Australian Poetry Journal, Cordite Poetry Review, Going Down Swinging, Landfall, Poetry New Zealand, Scum Mag, The Blue Nib, and The North. Her work has appeared in The Best Australian Poems, and in The Best Of The Best New Zealand Poems. Her verse novella "Mr Clean & The Junkie" (Mākaro Press) was longlisted for the Ockham New Zealand Book Awards in 2015. Recent Work in Canberra will be publishing her next book, "the moment, taken", in 2021.
