Buddy Mikaere is a professional historian and specialises in Maori consultation. He works closely with a number of organisations including the Tuwharetoa Maori Trust Board, the Ngai Tahu Trust Board, Waikato Raupatu Lands Trust and the Wellington Tenths Trust. Buddy was born in Tauranga in 1951.
